Among the various Christmas traditions, none is more popular than putting up a Christmas tree.

How did this tradition begin?

Historians believe the first Christmas tree originated in Germany.

In 723, an English missionary traveled to Germany for religious reasons.

To cope with these conditions, reindeer have evolved two interesting adaptations.

First, scientists have recently found that reindeer’s eyes change color from gold to blue in winter.

In summer, their eyes reflect most light through the retina and appear gold.

The second adaptation is reindeer’s hooves.
