Chinese chopsticks are long and thick.

They are usually made of wood and have a rectangular shape with a rounded end.

Chinese people eat at large round tables and share food.

중국 사람들은 크고 둥근 식탁에서 식사를 하고 음식을 공유한다.

They need long chopsticks to reach for the dishes in the middle of the table.

On the other hand, Japanese chopsticks are short and thin with pointed ends.

Japan is an island country, so they mainly eat fish.

With thin and pointed chopsticks, they can easily pick out fish bones and pick up sushi.
