PPL stands for product placement.

PPL은 제품 배치를 의미한다.

It means that certain products are placed in TV programs or movies.

그것은 어떤 상품들이 TV 프로그램이나 영화에 배치된다는 것을 의미한다.

In the past, filmmakers and TV producers who needed certain items for their work had to contact the product companies.

과거에는, 자신의 작품에 특정한 물품이 필요한 영화 제작자들과 TV 프로그램 제작자들은 제품 회사들에게 연락해야 했다.

After those products appeared in films and TV programs, they were better recognized by consumers and sold better.

Lots of companies that realized this began to contact filmmakers and TV producers.

This helps people link the positive image of those superheroes with the image of Audi cars.

There are many people, nevertheless, who don’t like excessive PPL.
