AI, or artificial intelligence, is a word for systems or machines that are programmed to perform tasks and improve themselves with information.

AI, 즉 인공지능은 정보를 가지고 업무를 수행하고 스스로를 향상시키도록 프로그램된 시스템이나 기계를 가리키는 단어이다.

Nowadays, AI is not only bringing rapid changes to technological fields, but also playing an important role in the art world.

오늘날, AI는 기술 분야에 빠른 변화를 가져올 뿐만 아니라, 예술계에서도 중요한 역할을 하고 있다.

For example, take a look at Ludwig van Beethoven’s unfinished symphony, which remained incomplete since 1827.

예를 들어, 1827년 이후로 미완성으로 남아있던 루트비히 판 베토벤의 미완성 교향곡을 보아라.

In addition to all of Beethoven’s works and notes, AI was given the works of musicians who influenced him.

베토벤의 모든 작품과 기록 외에도, AI에게는 베토벤에게 영향을 준 음악가들의 작품이 주어졌다.

As if it were human, the AI studied them and was able to identify patterns and style choices in Beethoven’s work.

After, it put all of the information together and completed the work.

With the help of high-tech cameras, scientists found The Lonesome Crouching Nude beneath The Blind Man’s Meal.

As the painting was painted over, they had to use X-rays to see it.

We always hear about how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is constantly evolving and getting better and better.

But, how is AI actually being added to our everyday lives?

Well, AI has the ability to figure out the best way to achieve a specific goal.

자, AI는 특정한 목표를 달성하는 가장 좋은 방법을 알아내는 능력을 가지고 있다.

It does this through deep learning, in which the AI studies and grows its knowledge in select areas.

AI는 엄선된 분야에서 지식을 학습하고 성장시키는 딥 러닝을 통해 이렇게 한다.

Because of this, AI can be changed to meet our needs.

이것 때문에, AI는 우리의 요구를 만족시키기 위해 바뀔 수 있다.

Businesses can use AI chatbots to answer any customer questions online by translating a customer’s words.

기업은 AI 챗봇을 사용해 고객의 말을 번역하여 온라인으로 어떠한 고객의 질문에도 대답할 수 있다.

On the other hand, hospitals can use AI doctors to detect, diagnose, and treat illness by collecting and observing a patient’s data.

반면에, 병원은 환자의 데이터를 수집하고 관찰함으로써 질병을 감지하고 진단 및 치료하기 위해 AI 의사를 이용할 수 있다.

In the future, we may see the day when AI even takes over annoying everyday tasks!

미래에, 우리는 AI가 심지어 성가신 일상 업무까지 대신하는 날을 볼 수 있을지도 모른다!
