Put Down That Screen!

Nowadays, most students read on their tablets or smartphones.

This is very convenient, but it may not be the best way to read.

Reading is more than just moving our eyes across a page.

We also need touch to help us read better.

Our eyes are more focused on the text when we turn pages in a book.

But we can’t concentrate on the main reading material because of them.

Hypertexts cause us to jump from site to site.

Reading on screens may seem helpful, but it is actually not very useful for learning.

Last Saturday, Nico, his brother Coby, and their dad arrived at a spa hotel.
