Do men and women see colors differently?

남자와 여자가 색을 다르게 보는가?

It's said that women have a more advanced ability to see red and orange colors than men.

여자는 남자보다 빨간색과 주황색을 보는 더 진보된 능력을 가지고 있다.

This means that women are good at identifying the many variations of the color red, while men may only see light red and dark red.

이것은 여자가 빨간색의 많은 변형색을 인지하는 데에 능숙하고 반면에 남자들은 밝은 빨간색과 어두운 빨간색만을 볼 수 있을지도 모른다는 것을 의미한다.

There is a natural reason why men can't see what is so obvious to women.

여자에게 매우 명확한 것을 남자가 볼 수 없는 자연스러운 이유가 있다.

It is generally known that there is a gene that allows people to perceive the color red.

사람들이 빨간색을 인지하게 하는 유전자가 있다는 것은 일반적으로 알려져 있다.

Interestingly, the gene is found only in the X chromosome and maintains a lot more variations than other genes.

흥미롭게도, 이 유전자는 X 염색체에서만 발견되고 다른 유전자에 비해 더 많은 변형을 보존한다.

Because women have two X chromosomes, they can perceive more variations in the red-orange color spectrum than men, who have only one X chromosome.
