The hare and the tortoise, by this time, had become pretty good friends, and they did some thinking together.

이번에 토끼와 거북이는 꽤 좋은 친구가 되었고 함께 생각을 했습니다.

Both realized that the previous race could have been run much better.

둘은 이전 경주에서 훨씬 더 잘 달릴 수 있었다는 것을 깨달았습니다.

So they decided to do the last race again but to run as a team this time.

그래서 그들은 다시 마지막 경주를 다시 하지만 이번에는 팀으로서 달릴 것을 결정했습니다.

They started off, and the hare carried the tortoise on his back till the riverbank.

그들은 출발했고 이번에는 강둑까지 토끼가 거북이를 그의 등에 업고 갔습니다.

There, the tortoise took over and swam across with the hare on his back.

거기서(강둑에서) 거북이는 토끼를 떠 맡아 그의 등에 업고 건너편으로 수영을 했습니다.

On the opposite bank, the hare again carried the tortoise, and they reached the finish line together.

반대편 강둑에서 토끼가 다시 거북이를 업었고 그들은 함께 결승선에 다다랐습니다.

They both felt a greater sense of satisfaction than they had felt earlier.

그들 둘 다 이전에 느꼈던 것보다 더 큰 만족감을 느꼈습니다.

Nobody knows if these two friends will hold another race.
