My great, ambitious journey is over.

내 멋지고 야심찼던 여행은 끝났다.

During it, I sometimes suffered great physical challenges and felt like giving up.

여행 동안 가끔 육체적으로 크게 고통스럽기도 했고, 포기하고 싶기도 했다.

At other times, I missed home a lot.

또 어떤 때는 집이 굉장히 그리웠다.

When I looked around, however, there were always supporters to make up for all of these obstacles.

하지만 주위를 돌아보면 항상 그 모든 어려움을 상쇄시켜 줄 많은 지지자들이 있었다.

A gentle breeze cheered me up when I was exhausted after long hours of pedaling.

부드러운 바람이 오랜 시간 페달을 밟은 후에 지쳤을 때 나를 힘나게 했다.

I met a kind local who gladly provided me with shelter.

나는 쉴 곳을 기꺼이 제공한 친절한 지역 주민을 만났다.

Most of all, my best friend, Doyun, riding with me through the journey, stood by my side.

무엇보다도 여행 동안 나와 함께 달린 나의 가장 좋은 친구 도윤이가 내 곁에 있었다.

There were many good people wherever we were.

우리가 있던 곳 어디든 많은 좋은 사람들이 있었다.

Despite cultural differences, we all depended on each other in one way or another.

문화적 차이에도 불구하고 우리 모두는 어떤 방식으로든 서로에게 의지하고 있었다.

As our wheels were wearing out, good memories were piling up.

바퀴가 닳아감에 따라 좋은 추억이 쌓여갔다.

I'll never forget my summer bike trip.

나는 내 여름 자전거 여행을 결코 잊지 못할 것이다.

It will be kept in the book of my life as one of the most meaningful stories.

그것은 내 인생의 책에 가장 의미 있는 이야기 중 하나로써 간직될 것이다.
