A library in Norway is working on a fascinating century-long project.

Throughout the next 100 years, famous and well-respected authors will add an unread manuscript to a time capsule, which won’t be opened until 2114!

The Future Library Trust is inviting different outstanding writers to participate in the project annually.

When the writers submit the manuscripts, they only reveal the title.

The length and genre of the work are up to them.

The only rule is that they cannot share their manuscripts with anyone, not even family members or editors.

The hope is that in 100 years our society will still exist and still enjoy reading.
