Bubbles will soon appear / on the eggshell.

After 24 hours, / change the vinegar.

Wait another 24 hours.

24시간을 더 기다려라

Rinse the egg / in water.

그 달걀을 씻어라 / 물에

Now / the egg will feel / like rubber.

이제 / 그 달걀은 느껴질 것이다 / 고무처럼

You can even gently bounce it / like a ball.

당신은 그것을 부드럽게 튕길 수도 있다 / 공처럼

This happens / because of calcium carbonate in the eggshell / and acetic acid in vinegar.

These two chemicals react / with each other.

The chemical reaction creates carbon dioxide gas.

Slowly, / this gas destroys the eggshell.

Beneath the eggshell, / there is a thin but strong layer.
