Day 2 The British Museum

둘째 날. 대영 박물관

After having breakfast, we headed to the British Museum.

아침을 먹은 후, 우리는 대영 박물관으로 향했다.

It has impressive collections from all over the world.

그곳은 전 세계에서 수집한 인상적인 소장품을 보유하고 있었다.

I was delighted to see the world-famous Rosetta Stone.

나는 세계적으로 유명한 로제타석을 보게 되어 기뻤다.

I read in the world history textbook that it was the most important clue for understanding the ancient Egyptian writing system.

나는 역사 교과서에서 이것이 고대 이집트 문자 체계를 이해하기 위한 가장 중요한 단서라고 읽었다.

Our exploration continued, and it led us to a display of Egyptian mummies.

Witnessing ancient mummies in person was a fascinating experience.

고대의 미라를 실제로 보는 것은 매우 흥미로운 경험이었다.

However, I felt a sense of sympathy for these mummies being exhibited in front of foreigners in an unfamiliar land.

하지만, 낯선 땅에서 외국인들 앞에 전시되고 있는 이 미라들에 대해서 나는 동정심을 느꼈다.
