Day 3 My Parents’ Wish Lists

셋째 날. 부모님의 위시 리스트

Today was a special day dedicated to my parents.

오늘은 부모님을 위한 특별한 날이었다.

We decided to drop by one of the oldest and most stunning bookstores in London, known for its classic charm.

우리는 런던에서 가장 오래되고 가장 멋진 서점 중 한곳에 들르기로 했는데, 그곳은 고전적인 매력으로 잘 알려진 곳이었다.

My dad loves books, and it was a place he had always wanted to explore.

아빠는 책을 아주 좋아하시는데, 그곳은 항상 그가 탐방하고 싶어 했던 곳이었다.

We were not disappointed.

우리는 실망하지 않았다[그곳은 기대만큼 멋졌다].

It was built during the Edwardian era and had three floors made of wood.

그곳은 에드워디언 시대에 건축되었으며 목조 3층으로 이뤄져 있었다.

The best part was how much natural light flooded in, making it even more beautiful.

가장 좋았던 점은 자연광이 몰려 들어와서, 그곳을 더욱 아름답게 만들어 준 것이었다.

This place was heaven for my dad.

아빠에게 이곳은 천국이었다.

His eyes shone with delight as he looked through the shelves.

책장을 둘러볼 때 아빠의 눈은 기쁨으로 빛났다.

My dad purchased a biography of Churchill for himself and cotton bags, well-known among Londoners, for our entire family.

아빠는 자신을 위해서는 Churchill의 전기를, 우리 가족 모두를 위해서는 런던 사람들 사이에서 잘 알려진 에코백을 구매했다.
