도훈이의 이야기

My friend, Jian, sends me too many texts.

내 친구 지안이는 내게 너무 많은 문자를 보낸다.

He even texts in the middle of the night.

그는 심지어 한밤중에도 문자를 보낸다.

When I don’t reply, he sends me angry emojis.

내가 답장하지 않을 때는 그는 내게 화난 표정의 이모지를 보낸다.

Jian is my good friend, and I want to be kind to him.

지안이는 내 좋은 친구이고 나는 그에게 친절하고 싶다.

What should I do?

내가 어떻게 해야 할까?

It sounds stressful.

스트레스 받을 것 같아.

Only text him short, simple messages.

그에게 그냥 짧고 간단한 메시지를 보내.

Say honestly, “Can you text me less?”

“너 나에게 메시지를 조금 덜 보내줄래?”라고 솔직하게 말해.
