도전 3: 새로운 모습

Of all the challenges I chose for myself, the third one made me the most nervous: changing my hairstyle.

나 자신을 위해 선택한 모든 도전 중에서, 세 번째 것이 나를 가장 초조하게 했다. 내 머리 모양을 바꾸는 것이었다.

For many years, I had kept the same hairstyle because I had been worried about my forehead.

수년간, 나는 내 이마가 걱정되었기 때문에 같은 머리 모양을 유지해 왔었다.

I had always thought it was large, and I didn’t want to draw attention to it.

Since I was feeling confident after the first two challenges, I went to a hair salon and talked to the stylist.

첫 두 가지 도전 후에 자신감을 느끼고 있었기 때문에, 나는 미용실에 가서 미용사에게 말을 건넸다.

He listened to my concerns and helped me find a shorter hairstyle that suited me.

그는 나의 우려를 듣고 내가 내게 어울리는 더 짧은 머리 모양을 찾도록 도와주었다.
