Henri Rousseau was born in France in 1844.

앙리 루소는 1844년에 프랑스에서 태어났습니다.

As a child, he was talented at drawing and music.

어릴 때 그는 그림과 음악에 재능이 있었습니다.

However, when he got older, Rousseau took a job at the Paris Customs Office.

While he worked there, he painted as a hobby.

In 1893 at the age of 49, he retired and focused on his art.

Rousseau enjoyed painting jungle scenes, but he had never been to the jungle.
