아마 운동장과 분리되어 서 있는 직사각형의 학교 건물, 교실들을 연결하는 일직선의 복도, 그리고 교실 앞면을 향해 줄 맞춰 있는 학생용 책상을 떠올릴 것이다.

However, this conventional image of schools is rapidly changing as modern school architecture embraces designs that enhance students’ learning experiences and academic performance.

그러나 현대 학교 건축이 학생의 학습 경험과 학습 성취도를 증진하는 디자인을 수용함에 따라, 이러한 전통적인 학교 이미지가 급격하게 바뀌고 있다.

A Kindergarten with Open Floor Plans

거대한 도넛처럼 디자인되어, 일본 도쿄에 있는 후지 유치원은 대단히 흥미로운 2층 구조물이다.

It has ample open areas that inspire students to explore and learn through discovery.

그것은 학생들이 탐험하고 발견을 통해 학습하도록 영감을 주는 넓은 개방 공간을 갖추고 있다.

In fact, the entire school functions as a vast playground without traditional play equipment.

사실, 학교 전체가 전통적 놀이 기구가 없는 드넓은 놀이터로 기능한다.

Its top floor is a massive wooden track where children freely move around and play games.
