When he was a small boy, Saroo Brierley became lost on the streets of Kolkata, far from his hometown in rural India.

With the help of local people, he finally met his mother, brother, and sister, still living in Ganesh Talai.

One day, a boy visited his grandmother, Nokomis.

The celebrations begin with a ritual bonfire that burns away Holika, the devil, on the night before Holi.

People spend time dancing, singing, and having a great time with each other.
